Baseball Recap: Mt. Hebron Comes Up Short

Mt. Hebron and Sherwood squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Mt. Hebron had to settle for second. They lost 8-0 to the Warriors. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Vikings' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Mt. Hebron has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season. As for Sherwood, the victory (which was their 16th in a row) raised their record to 24-3.

Mt. Hebron does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sherwood, they will square off against Reservoir on Tuesday. The last three games the Gators have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
