Basketball Recap: LaGrange Takes a Loss

On Tuesday, the LaGrange Grangers came up short against the Spalding Jaguars and fell 52-45.

LaGrange's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Spalding, the win snapped their losing streak at 13 games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-10 record.

LaGrange will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on North Clayton on December 30th. As for Spalding, they will venture away from home to square off against Mary Persons at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The timing is sure in Mary Persons' favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while Spalding has been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road.
