Baseball Recap: Shattuck Now 13-1 over Last 14 Games

Shattuck proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by 12) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Kremlin-Hillsdale Broncs 4-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Indians have posted since March 31st.

Shattuck is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for Kremlin-Hillsdale, they moved to 21-5 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Shattuck has already played their next matchup (against Sayre), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Kremlin-Hillsdale, they will take on Newkirk at 3:00 p.m. on Monday.
