Baseball Recap: Person Wins Going Away Against Carrboro

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Person). They were the clear victor by a 19-4 margin over the Carrboro Jaguars on Thursday. The win continues a trend for the Rockets in their matchups with the Jaguars: they've now won three in a row.

Person got a massive performance out of Nicholas Young, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs, three doubles, and one RBI. The dominant performance gave Young a new career-high in doubles. Brennen Kiser was another key player, going 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one double.

Person always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .694. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Person now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Carrboro, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
