Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Longwood). They walked away with a 61-53 win over the Richards Warriors on Thursday. The victory was nothing new for the Panthers as they're now sitting on three straight.

Longwood's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Gholahan Abiola, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Kahlil Leonard, who posted 25 points and seven boards.

Longwood's victory bumped their record up to 5-10. As for Richards, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-8.

Longwood will square off against Oak Lawn at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Richards, they will face off against Kennedy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
