Volleyball Game Preview: Abington Heights Comets vs. Dunmore Bucks

The Abington Heights Comets will head out on the road to square off against the Dunmore Bucks at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Abington Heights will come into the contest with an undefeated record on the line.

On Wednesday, Abington Heights made easy work of West Scranton and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Abington Heights took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-5, 25-13, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Dunmore beat Montrose 3-1 on Thursday.

While Dunmore might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Montrose scored at least 21 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-21, 18-25, 25-23, 25-21.

Abington Heights' record now sits at 25-0. As for Dunmore, their record is now 14-6-1.

Abington Heights took their win against Dunmore when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Comets since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
