Football Game Preview: Capital Cougars vs. Timberline Blazers + How To Watch

Capital hasn't had much luck against Timberline recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Cougars will take on the Blazers at 7:00 p.m.

Capital is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 44 points last Friday, they were much more limited against Peninsula on Friday. They and the Seahawks were almost perfectly matched up, but they suffered a 10-9 defeat.

Meanwhile, Timberline never let their opponents score on Friday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 42-0 win over River Ridge. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Blazers just coasted through the last quarter.

Capital's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Timberline, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Everything came up roses for Capital against Timberline in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 46-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cougars since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
