Softball Game Preview: East Central Eagles vs. Aitkin Gobblers

East Central is 0-3 against Aitkin since April of 2016 but things could change on Thursday. The Eagles will look to defend their home field against the Gobblers at 4:30 p.m.

East Central fell victim to Barnum and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 10-0 to the Bombers, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

Meanwhile, Aitkin never let their opponents score on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Hinckley-Finlayson as they made off with an 8-0 win. The Gobblers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by eight runs or more this season.

East Central's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Aitkin, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
