Highlands has gone a perfect 10-0 against Tri-County recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Highlanders will venture away from home to challenge the Jaguars at 6:00 p.m. Tri-County took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Highlands, who comes in off a win.

On Wednesday, Highlands got the win against Hayesville by a conclusive 10-1. The result was nothing new for Highlands, who have now won four matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, after soaring to four goals the game before, Tri-County was a bit more limited in their contest on Tuesday. They came up short against Swain County, falling 9-0. While losing is never fun, Tri-County can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 474th, while Swain County are ranked 160th).

The win made it two in a row for Highlands and bumps their season record up to 6-6. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those two games. As for Tri-County, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-9-1.
