Baseball Recap: West Muskingum Takes a Loss

West Muskingum had taken Crooksville down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Monday. The Tornadoes fell 6-3 to the Ceramics. The match marked the Tornadoes' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

West Muskingum saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Grady Dollings, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4. Kaiden Fleming was another, scoring a run while going 2-for-2.

West Muskingum's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-3. As for Crooksville, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

While West Muskingum had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
