Volleyball Recap: Santana Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Santana can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Maranatha Christian Eagles on Tuesday. The Sultans' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-15, 25-11.

Santana's loss dropped their record down to 9-15. As for Maranatha Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-5 record this season.

Santana does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Maranatha Christian, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-1 victory against Foothills Christian on the 8th.
