Basketball Recap: Martha's Vineyard Regional Comes Up Short

The Martha's Vineyard Regional Vineyarders lost to the Apponequet Regional Lakers on the road by a 88-72 margin. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (57), the Vineyarders still had to take the loss.

Martha's Vineyard Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Apponequet Regional, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-11 record this season.
