Football Recap: Clemens Buffaloes vs. Canyon Cougars
Clemens extended their losing streak to four on Friday, dropping them down to 2-5. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 24-20 heartbreaker at the hands of the Canyon Cougars. The Buffaloes were not able to make up for their loss to the Cougars from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Clemens' defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Carter Mencke, who rushed for 36 yards and one score, and Trey Burton, who picked up 78 receiving yards and one TD. Gavin Townsend helped out on the ground, rushing for 82 yards.
