Basketball Game Preview: Mansfield Tigers vs. Boswell Pioneers

Mansfield is on a three-game streak of home losses, Boswell a three-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Tuesday. The Mansfield Tigers will host the Boswell Pioneers at 8:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Friday, Mansfield was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 60-59 to Weatherford.

Meanwhile, Boswell took a blow against Lake Ridge on Friday, falling 76-35. While losing is never fun, the Pioneers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 295th, while the Eagles are ranked third).

Boswell's loss dropped their record down to 13-13. As for Mansfield, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-13.

Mansfield skirted past Boswell 53-50 when the teams last played back in December of 2024. Will Mansfield repeat their success, or does Boswell have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
