Jena is a perfect 3-0 against Bunkie since March of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. Molly Newton was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with three stolen bases and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Kylie Knight, who went 1-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base.

Bunkie's loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Jena, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 13-1.

Jena got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in March of 2025 against Bunkie by a conclusive 10-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Giants since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
