Huntingtown snaps four-game streak of wins at home

Recap: Huntingtown Hurricanes vs. North Point Eagles
The Huntingtown Hurricanes lost against the North Point Eagles back in February of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Huntingtown took a serious blow against North Point, falling 60-25. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Huntingtown in their matchups with North Point: they've now lost five in a row.
Despite the loss, Huntingtown saw an underclassman step up: Eva Powell scored 11 points along with seven rebounds.
Huntingtown's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-8. As for North Point, their victory was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-5.
Huntingtown will square off against Lackey at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for North Point, they will be playing at home against Patuxent at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
