Republic is a perfect 7-0 against Columbia since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Tigers will host the Lions at 7:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Republic is headed into Friday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their seventh straight games dating back to last season last Friday. They took a blow against Inchelium, falling 68-14. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington football rankings (they are ranked 48th, while the Hornets are ranked tenth).

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Columbia's offense. They were dealt a 56-0 defeat at the hands of Odessa on Friday. Having soared to a lofty 48 points in the game before, the Lions' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Republic's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Columbia, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Republic strolled past Columbia in their previous matchup back in September of 2024 by a score of 16-2. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Lions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
