Softball Recap: Foothill Victorious

Foothill's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They came out on top against the Henley Hornets by a score of 6-2.

The team relied heavily on Jackie Cogle, who went 1-for-2 with two runs and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Malia Webb, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Foothill always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .526. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Foothill now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Henley, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Foothill will take on Red Bluff at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Henley, they will face off against Klamath Union at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Hornets' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
