Recap: Niles West Wolves vs. Waukegan Bulldogs

The Niles West Wolves won the last time they faced the Waukegan Bulldogs, and things went their way on Saturday too. Niles West walked away with a 49-39 win over Waukegan. The win made it back-to-back wins for Niles West.

Despite the defeat, Waukegan had strong showings from Aaliaya Cade, who scored 15 points, and Madison Johnson, who scored 15 points. That was a full 38.5% of Waukegan's points, marking the seventh time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Evelyn Petty, who scored nine points.

Niles West has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 14-8 record this season. As for Waukegan, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-15.
