Volleyball Recap: Montgomery Takes a Loss

Montgomery was the 3-0 winner over Klein Oak when they last played one another back in August of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Bears fell 2-0 to the Panthers on Thursday.

Klein Oak was led to victory by Erin Carpenter and Samantha Kuehnle. Carpenter had 11 digs and two aces, while Kuehnle had 12 assists and five digs. That's the most digs Carpenter has posted over her last seven contests.

Montgomery's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Klein Oak, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season.

Montgomery didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Paetow on the 21st. As for Klein Oak, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Houston Christian on the 21st.
