Baseball Recap: Jeanerette Comes Up Short

Jeanerette lost against Episcopal of Acadiana back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Tigers came up short against the Falcons, falling 17-2. That's two games in a row now that the Tigers have lost by exactly 15 runs.

Jeanerette dropped their record down to 1-13 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Episcopal of Acadiana, their win bumped their record up to 4-11.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jeanerette will square off against Abbeville at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Episcopal of Acadiana, they will host Patterson at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
