Hamlin is 9-1 against Roncalli since February of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Hamlin Chargers will head out on the road to face off against the Roncalli Cavaliers at 6:30 p.m. Hamlin knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight contests -- so hopefully Roncalli likes a good challenge.

Hamlin is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of South Dakota's top teams: Dakota Valley, who was ranked first at the time (Hamlin was ranked fourth). Hamlin took a 63-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of Dakota Valley on Saturday.

Roncalli has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They came up short against Sioux Falls Christian on Saturday, falling 64-41. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Cavaliers have suffered since February 3, 2024.

Roncalli's loss dropped their record down to 12-4. As for Hamlin, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-2.

Hamlin was able to grind out a solid victory over Roncalli when the teams last played back in January of 2024, winning 52-41. The rematch might be a little tougher for Hamlin since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
