Softball Recap: Lincoln Comes Up Short

Lincoln lost against Munford on Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Lincoln Golden Bears lost 18-6 to the Munford Lions. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Golden Bears have suffered since February 25th.

Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 14-8-1. As for Munford, the win was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lincoln will venture away from home to challenge Pell City at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Munford, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Munford Lions face off against Talladega Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. They are facing Talladega at the right time seeing as Talladega is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
