Vestaburg lost to Calvary Baptist Academy back in February of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Vestaburg Wolverines came out on top against the Calvary Baptist Academy Kings by a score of 39-27. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wolverines.

Vestaburg found their leader in sophomore Lily Johnston, who posted 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jessica Stouten, who earned eight points.

Vestaburg's victory bumped their record up to 7-13. As for Calvary Baptist Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season.

Vestaburg is taking a road trip to square off against Coleman at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Calvary Baptist Academy has already played their next match (against Northern Michigan Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
