It was a good run, but Collinsville unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 60-46 bruising from the Slidell Greyhounds. The Pirates were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Greyhounds earlier this season, when they won 66-56.

Collinsville's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 18-7. As for Slidell, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 19-8 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Collinsville will head out to square off against Lindsay at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Slidell has already played their next contest (against Chico), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
