Water Canyon's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Parowan Rams 52-16. The Wildcats have beaten the Rams the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Rams has come to flipping the script.

Joann Barlow had a dynamite game, almost dropping a double-double with 21 points and nine boards. Tammy Johnson was another key player, going 6-for-10 on her way to 14 points.

Water Canyon smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in seven consecutive contests dating back to last season.

The victory got Water Canyon back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Water Canyon will head out on the road to challenge El Capitan at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Parowan, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 52-8 loss against Escalante on the 21st.
