Recap: Livermore Cowboys vs. Granada Matadors
The Livermore Cowboys were the 42-28 winner over the Granada Matadors when they last played one another back in November of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Livermore took a 35-25 hit to the loss column at the hands of Granada on Friday.
Granada's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Peyton Richards led the charge by picking up 159 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Christian Clouser was another key contributor, gaining 160 total yards and a touchdown.
Livermore's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Granada, their win bumped their record up to 7-3.
Livermore does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Granada will be playing at home against Rancho Cotate at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in California (Rancho Cotate is ranked 246th, while Granada is ranked 239th).
