Soccer Game Preview: Berrien vs. Jeff Davis

The Berrien Rebels will square off against the Jeff Davis Yellowjackets at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Berrien has struggled recently with three losses in a row, while Jeff Davis will arrive with six straight victories.

While the 3-3 score might suggest a draw, it was Valwood who was credited with the win on Tuesday. Valwood got it done in the shootout by posting six goals to Berrien's five.

Jeff Davis will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one goal on Friday, then bounced right back against Appling County on Tuesday. Jeff Davis put the hurt on Appling County with a sharp 5-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Yellowjackets, who have now won three matches by three goals or more so far this season.
