Baseball Recap: Windsor Takes a Loss

Windsor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 16-5 to the Burr & Burton Bulldogs. If the Yellowjackets were looking for revenge after losing 10-0 to the Bulldogs when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Tristen Merrill was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

Windsor's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Burr & Burton, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-5 record this season.

Windsor will challenge Otter Valley at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Burr & Burton has already played their next contest (against Hartford), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
