Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Norfolk). They enjoyed a cozy 58-42 victory over the Omaha Northwest Huskies on Friday. That's more bragging rights for the Panthers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
Leading Norfolk to victory were Skylar Indra and Harper Fossum. Indra dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds, while Fossum posted 12 points in addition to six assists and six boards. Those 12 points gave Fossum a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Bo Caskey, who went 5 of 12 on her way to 11 points in addition to eight boards and four steals.
