Volleyball Recap: Overhills Comes Up Short + How To Watch

If Overhills was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Seventy-First on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Jaguars came up short against the Southern Lee Cavaliers on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Jaguars of the 3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

While Overhills ultimately came up short, they really made Southern Lee work, particularly in the second set. The final score came out to 25-14, 26-24, 25-21.

Ally Williams paced Overhills' offense, picking up 11 kills. Williams got some help from Sophia Singh and her nine assists. Williams was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Overhills' loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Southern Lee, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Cavaliers beat Overhills by a score of 3-2 on Thursday.
