Volleyball Recap: Overhills Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against Seventy-First on Thursday, Overhills came back down to earth. The Jaguars came up short against the Southern Lee Cavaliers on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Jaguars haven't had much luck with the Cavaliers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

While Overhills ultimately came up short, they really made Southern Lee work, particularly in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 26-24, 25-21.

Ally Williams paced Overhills' offense, picking up 11 kills. Williams got some help from Sophia Singh and her nine assists. Williams was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Overhills' defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Southern Lee, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

While Overhills had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
