Basketball Recap: Louisville Takes a Loss

Louisville lost against Malcolm back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Louisville Lions fell 49-41 to the Malcolm Clippers.

When it comes to explaining why Louisville lost, don't look at Jase Ostblom. Despite the final result, he posted 23 points. Another player making a difference was Brady Abbott, who put up eight points.

Malcolm's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Preston Kucera, who had 16 points. Carson Frank was another key player, putting up 13 points.

Louisville dropped their record down to 6-10 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Malcolm, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-7.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Yutan the next time they take the court. Louisville will host Yutan at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Malcolm will head out to face them at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
