Noah Mikhail Delivers Best Effort of Season

On Friday, Bonita got the W thanks in part to Noah Mikhail playing the best football he has all season. Mikhail made 13 total tackles (5.0 for loss) and defended a pass. The effort also marked the most rushing yards (50) he has had since back in October of 2023.

The victory for Bonita keeps them at an undefeated 6-0. Mikhail and Bonita will challenge Claremont at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Joseph Lara's big game helped extend Bonita's winning streak to six on Friday. Glendora had no answer to Lara as he rushed for 75 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries, and also picked up 56 receiving yards. Those 75 rushing yards gave Lara a new career-high.

This season, Lara has averaged 38.7 receiving yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 2.67 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 53.33 rushing yards.

Charter Oak was led to victory by Torry Huff, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Huff rushed for 102 yards and three touchdowns, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.

This season, Huff has run in 5 touchdowns while averaging 51.3 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after six games last season, he was only averaging 16.5 rushing yards per game.

Bonita Wins Sixth-Straight Thanks to Cole Parra

Cole Parra was instrumental in extending Bonita's winning streak to six on Friday. Parra was unstoppable, rushing for 32 yards and a touchdown, while also picking up 37 receiving yards.

Marquis Bradley Makes It Two for Charter Oak
