Bay has gone 8-2 against Normandy recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Bay Rockets will square off against the Normandy Invaders at 12:30 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Bay will head into Monday's matchup on the come-up: they were handed a heart-breaking three-point defeat in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Elyria on Monday. Bay blew past Elyria 54-32.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Normandy, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Steele on Monday, sneaking past 42-40. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Invaders have posted since December 30, 2023.

Normandy's win came from a few key players Bay will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Ziley Minich, who went 7 for 13 on her way to 18 points. Minich is also crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Lindsay Meriwether was another key player, putting up nine points and five steals.

The victory got Bay back to even at 7-7. As for Normandy, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 7-6 record this season.

Bay beat Normandy 58-45 in their previous meeting back in November of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Bay since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
