Sedro-Woolley's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed two weeks ago. They blew past Mount Vernon 11-0. Considering the Cubs have won 18 contests by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Peninsula walked away with it. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Suns on Thursday, sneaking past 11-10.

Sedro-Woolley's victory was their 21st straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 19-2. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.4 runs on average this season. As for Peninsula, their victory bumped their record up to 17-9.
