Baseball Recap: Tularosa Wildcats vs. Hatch Valley Bears
The home team had come away the winner the last three times Tularosa and Hatch Valley had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Wildcats walked away with a 13-8 win over the Bears on Wednesday. The game was the first time the Wildcats have beaten the Bears on their field since April 1, 2022.
The team relied heavily on Hunter Sewell, who scored three runs while going 3-for-5. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Samuel Kusmack was another key player, scoring two runs while going 3-for-4.
