Volleyball Recap: First Baptist Takes a Loss

First Baptist was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Ovilla Christian Eagles, falling 3-0. The Saints were not able to make up for their defeat to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-19, 25-15.

First Baptist's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Ovilla Christian, the victory (which was their 15th in a row) raised their record to 21-3-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. First Baptist is set to square off against their familiar foe Alcuin at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Ovilla Christian will challenge rival Cambridge at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
