Kyler Syracuse Game Report: vs Tarkington

While Kyler Syracuse delivered a dominant effort on Tuesday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Shepherd. Syracuse went 3-for-4 with one stolen base and one double, which was good enough to set a new career-high in hits.

Even though Syracuse couldn't lead Shepherd over Tarkington, he won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Shepherd has some work to do to even out the 1-9 series between these two since March of 2020, but a win here would be a good start.
