Football Game Preview: St. Charles Pirates vs. Warrenton Warriors

St. Charles hasn't had much luck against Warrenton recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Pirates will venture away from home to take on the Warriors at 7:00 p.m. St. Charles has given up an average of 30.2 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Friday, St. Charles had to suffer through a 41-7 loss at the hands of St. Charles West.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 14-14 at halftime, Warrenton was not quite Holt's equal in the second half on Friday. They fell 24-14 to the Indians.

Warrenton's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-2. As for St. Charles, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.

St. Charles was dealt a bruising 35-0 defeat at the hands of Warrenton in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Can the Pirates avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
