Softball Game Preview: Rock Ridge Phoenix vs. Dominion Titans

For the second straight game, Rock Ridge will face off against Dominion. The Phoenix will be playing in front of their home fans against the Titans at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Rock Ridge has given up an average of 9.7 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Rock Ridge made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Dominion, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Phoenix fell just short of the Titans by a score of 14-12 on Thursday. The Phoenix have struggled against the Titans recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meeting.

Kyra Young and Grayson Andrews did some serious damage despite the final result: Young went 1-for-5 with one home run and two runs, while Andrews went 1-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Laasya Bandi, who went 2-for-5 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Dominion's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-9. As for Rock Ridge, their loss dropped their record down to 5-8.
