Soccer Recap: Dumas Comes Up Short

Dumas and Randall pushed the score to 11-0 the last time they played Randall, but on Tuesday defenses reigned supreme. The Demons fell 2-0 to the Raiders. While losing is never fun, Dumas can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 649th, while Randall are ranked 245th).

Dumas' loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-12-1. As for Randall, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4-3 record this season.

Dumas wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 7-0 defeat against Borger on the 27th. As for Randall, they have also already played their next matchup, a 4-1 win against Canyon on the 27th.
