Ganado extended their postseason success on Thursday against Three Rivers. They blew past the Bulldogs 14-4. The result was nothing new for the Indians, who have now won 19 matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

Ganado got a great performance from Saylor Bures as she struck out six batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off four hits. Bures has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Madisyn Weempe, who went 3-for-4 with four runs, two stolen bases, and one triple. Those four runs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Laci Holt, who went 2-for-4 with four runs, two stolen bases, and one double.

Ganado was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .419. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .333 or higher in five consecutive contests.

Ganado is on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 16 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-5-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for Three Rivers, their defeat ended a nine-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 26-5-1.

Ganado will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Bulldogs: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled on Friday.
