Baseball Recap: Sidney Takes a Loss

Sidney lost against Troy on Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Yellowjackets came up short against the Trojans, falling 18-1. The Yellowjackets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sidney's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Troy, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sidney will head out to challenge Chaminade Julienne Catholic at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Troy, they will venture away from home to square off against Tippecanoe at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Red Devils will roll in looking for their 13th straight win, something the Trojans surely won't give up without a fight.
