Football Recap: Spring Creek Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Spring Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by the South Lenoir Blue Devils 46-6. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Gators of the 49-14 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2019.

Spring Creek's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for South Lenoir, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Spring Creek will challenge James Kenan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The contest will give the Gators their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for South Lenoir, they will head out to challenge Kinston at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
