Volleyball Recap: Mercer County Comes Up Short

After flying high against Burgin on Tuesday, Mercer County came back down to earth. The Titans fell just short of the Boyle County Rebels by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. The Titans have struggled against the Rebels recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Mercer County's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Boyle County, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-9.

Coincidentally, Mercer County and Boyle County will both be playing Danville Christian Academy the next time they take the court. The Titans will head out to face the Warriors at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, while the Rebels will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
