Pender skates past Wallace-Rose Hill with ease

Recap: Pender Patriots vs. Wallace-Rose Hill Bulldogs
The Pender Patriots scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They blew past Wallace-Rose Hill, posting a 59-28 victory at home. The victory was familiar territory for Pender who now have three in a row.
It was another big night for Jamiah Johnson, who scored 22 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Pender's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Grace Bordeaux, who scored ten points.
Pender's win bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Wallace-Rose Hill, they dropped their record down to 2-10 with that defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road.
Pender will be playing in front of their home fans against Heide Trask at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Heide Trask is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak. Wallace-Rose Hill on the road again on Tuesday and play against James Kenan at 6:30 p.m. on January 23rd. Hopefully James Kenan focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Friday.
