Soccer Game Preview: Parchment vs. Kellogg

Parchment will face off against Kellogg at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Parchment turned things around against Bronson on Thursday. Neither they nor the Vikings could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 3-3 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked Parchment's first draw of the season.

Meanwhile, after soaring to four goals the game before, Kellogg was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Quincy. The loss put an end to Kellogg's undefeated start to the season.

With that draw, Parchment's record moves to 1-4-1. As for Kellogg, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Everything went Parchment's way against Kellogg when the teams last played back in May of 2024, as Parchment made off with a 5-0 win. Will Parchment repeat their success, or does Kellogg has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
