Meridian won the last time they faced Central A & M and things went their way on Saturday too. The Hawks had just enough and edged out the Raiders 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Hawks.

Alyssa Meisenhelter paced Meridian's offense, picking up eight kills. Meisenhelter got some help from Gigi Pramuk and her 15 assists.

Meridian's victory bumped their record up to 13-15. As for Central A & M, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-20 record this season.

Meridian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Clinton on the 18th. As for Central A & M, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Warrensburg-Latham on the 18th.
