Fans were treated to a battle of the Lions on Thursday. Covenant Day put the hurt on Ambassador Christian School with a sharp 4-1 win. Considering Covenant Day has won seven matchups by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Ambassador Christian School with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Will Farrow, Henry Neil, Jack Freace, and Brady Johnson.

The victory made it two in a row for Covenant Day and bumps their season record up to 13-2-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored ten goals over those two contests. As for Ambassador Christian School, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Covenant Day will venture away from home to take on Cannon at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ambassador Christian School, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Greater Cabarrus Athletic Association at 5:00 p.m. on the 13th.
